Availability¶
Dolphin has been providing the SISCI API for all of its Dolphin Express interconnect solutions. Support for SCI networks was introduced in 1998. Support for the Dolphin Express DX was added in 2006. Support for Dolphin Express IX was added in 2010. Support for Intel NTB and Dolphin Express PX was added in 2015. Support for Microsemi Switchtec PFX was added in 2017.
Supported operating systems¶
SISCI support was introduced on Solaris 2.5.1, LynxOS 3.1, VxWorks 5.5, Windows NT 4.0 and Linux 2.0.
SISCI is currently available for Windows XP – Windows 10 32 and 64 bits, RTX2013 - RTX2016 - 32 and 64 bits, Linux 2.6, 3.x and 4.x 32 and 64 bits Intel, ARM32, and ARM64. VxWorks x86_64 SMP 6.9 and VxWorks 7.0

Support for third party OEM hardware¶
The SISCI API is available for the following PCIe chipsets:
Logan, Northstar and Phoenix NTB PCI Express Gen2 and Gen3 chipsets from IDT.
Sirius, Draco2, Capella 1 NTB PCI Express Gen2 and Gen3 chips from Broadcom (PLX/Avago).
PFX Switchtec from Microsemi
Intel NTB
